Manny Ramirez is a steadfast fiscal conservative who believes that tax payers should not be beholden to their County government. Manny is staunchly opposed to taxpayer funded lobbying and was instrumental in helping the City of Fort Worth solve a $1.6 billion pension crisis without negatively impacting taxpayers. As your County Commissioner, Manny will ensure that the services that are provided are absolutely necessary. Manny has earned a Masters Degree from the TCU, M.J. Neeley School of Business, and has a thorough knowledge of streamlined and responsible financial management.
Every day our roads get more congested, our schools get more crowded, and our public safety system is stretched thinner and thinner. Manny is an experienced and principled negotiator who has worked hard to bring smart, transparent, and efficient projects that allow us to most effectively handle our projected future needs. Manny has secured more than $500 million in new roadway investments to bring Precinct 4 into the 21st century. Manny continues to promote projects that bring jobs and development to our area, not just rooftops. Manny will listen to the taxpayers and focus on improving our existing road systems to get ahead of our population growth.

As a member of the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. National Gang Unit, Manny saw first hand the impact that illegal drugs, gang activity, and human trafficking can have on our county. As your Commissioner, Manny has ensured that your Sheriff has every resource necessary to assist our federal law enforcement agencies. Manny is a lifelong resident of Northwest Tarrant County and will never stop fighting to keep our community safe.

The Tarrant County Commissioners Court is charged with financial oversight and operational governance of the Tarrant County Hospital District. This is a complex system that requires business acumen and strategic vision. Manny will work with our healthcare experts to increase transparency and operational efficiencies. Manny’s top priority will be to ensure the most responsible use of your tax dollars.

Manny recognizes the need for common sense, smart, and determined leadership that reflects the values that we hold as Texans. During his years of public service Manny has seen the devastating impact that stagnation can have on an organization and more importantly; on our communities.
As the President of the FWPOA he has directly contributed to Precinct 4's success in public safety, and as your County Commissioner he has contributed to the transformation of Precinct 4 into a leader in economic development and accountability.
