Born and raised in Tarrant County, Precinct 4, Manny protected and served Precinct 4 as a Fort Worth Police Officer for more than a decade. Serving as the President of the Fort Worth Police Officers Association, Manny managed a multi-million dollar budget and was responsible for the direction of the Fort Worth Committee for Public Safety. Manny's leadership was critical in solving the $1.6 billion Fort Worth pension shortfall. Through principled negotiations he crafted a solution that stabilized the fund and had no negative impact to our taxpayers or retirees.
Manny fights for taxpayers on the local, state, and national level, ensuring that public safety and "local control" remain top priorities in our government. To carry forward that mission, Manny was recently appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the Board of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV.) Manny has owned and operated a successful small business and knows that capitalism is the engine that drives our country. Manny has dedicated his life to public service and understands the importance of conservative, common sense government.
As a police officer Manny has given blood sweat and tears to defend the thin line between chaos and order; as your County Commissioner he will continue to hold that line for Tarrant County and protect our conservative Texan values and our Tarrant County way of life. In his first year in office, Manny has led the charge to lower taxes, increase funding for law enforcement, cut government waste, and secured millions in funding for improving our county infrastructure.

Manny is an experienced executive with over 15 years of dedicated public service. He has earned a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University and holds a Master Peace Officer License from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Manny is a principled negotiator who continually finds ways to craft policy and legislation to keep our citizens safe without additional financial burden. Manny provides leadership on numerous boards of directors throughout Tarrant County and the State of Texas.
